In 2016, DBS were tasked to carry out PPM support for the Heating, Chillers, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration across 20 sites, including domestic dwellings, surgeries and outpatient building clinics. We look to identify any issues or faults, and then quote for remedial works and carry out reactive repairs. DBS successfully took over and revamped the PPM schedule and in year 1 got to grips with the site, its assets and formed a fully workable F Gas register via our online portal, Simpro. Full compliance was ensured using our Refcom registered engineers. By the end of Year 1, savings in the PPM schedule were achieved due to better planning, grouping of assets and assigning the correct skill sets.
Mobilisation of Contract:
To provide the necessary support, we mobilised two air conditioning engineers, one chiller engineer, one heating engineer, plus support from our apprentices and trainees. (DBS have an ongoing training programme in line with our sustainability policy). Our two internal service managers also worked on this project and had a very good report with the estates management and maintenance team.
